HELEN MacRITCHIE
Helen is a textile artist based in the UK, exhibiting in the UK and Sydney, Australia.
She concentrates upon the detail found in nature and the landscape recreating the impressions and feelings these evoke through contemporary abstract representation,. Texture, colour and visual design are significant to the interaction with her audience. The textile interpretation of a subject offers further artistic opportunity to involve sensory awareness – the work is both tactile and visually stimulating.

SALLEY MAVOR
A needle is my tool, thread is my medium and stitches are my marks. For over 45 years, I’ve created 3-dimensional hand-stitched miniature worlds that range from precious to poignant to provocative. My artwork is applied in many ways, including in children’s books, editorial illustration, and stop-motion animation.

EMILY JO GIBBS
Emily Jo Gibbs is a British Artist who over the last two decades has established an international reputation for her delicate textiles. In her current practice Emily creates hand-stitched Portraits and Still Lifes with a graphic quality, observing the quiet beauty of the overlooked. Gently advocating The Value of Making by creating work that celebrates the skill, dexterity and the creative problem solving of people who make things.

LINDA MILLER
Linda makes framed and unframed machine embroideries which she exhibits in the UK, Europe and the USA and have pieces held in permanent collections. She teaches the art of machine embroidery to guilds and groups and regularly make commissions.

"As well as keeping my art journal, a love of the natural world inspires me to make carefully observed drawings of the often-missed moments in time, for example when a leaf opens from a bud, or when the light on a flower reveals its complex (or simple) structure.
From these studies I also make expressive large-scale drawings and textile designs."
